We are one day closer to Saturday's clash of state powers between Wheaton-Warrenville and York. After our quarterfinal matchup last week, it is fitting that we are featuring a semi-final game this week. The beauty of being this deep into the playoffs is that you can count on each game being a battle. Although some would say that York is an underdog this week, don't tell this to 11-1 York who has won 11 straight after losing their opening contest by one point. While Wheaton-Warrenville is ranked #9 nationally and York is ranked #47, with 16,000 teams in the country, the bottom line is that these teams are the best of the best and the stage is set for classic playoff battle this Saturday.
Tonight I'm writing from the Chicago apartment of friend and fellow Maxpreps employee Stephen Spiewak. Simply said, Stephen's the man, he took us out to some real Chicago style pizza tonight and gave us a awesome intro to the Windy City. Tomorrow we will attempt to go to the top of the Sears Tower, the tallest building in America and cruise around downtown Chicago. Hopefully, for the sake of my driving record, we will not shut down any major parkways and make it out ticket free, unlike our last trek through a major city. Tune in tomorrow night to find out how things go.
