Ozark put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They made easy work of Pottsville and carried off a 41-7 win. Ozark were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Ozark found Ozark's leader in underclassman sophomore Tyler Sanders, who picked up 97 yards on the ground and caught passes for 67 yards. If you haven't heard Dietz's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse sophomore Keystan Durning, who racked up 13 tackles.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Ozark take on Dover at 7:00 PM. Ozark are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Dover are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses. As for Pottsville, they will face off against Elkins. Elkins have averaged 45 points over the course of their past seven games, so Pottsville might be in for a challenge.
