Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, Ohio) 37-29 on Saturday.
The Red Devils were up 24-7 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
St. Clairsville saw its 17-point halftime lead fall to 10 entering the fourth.
The loss snapped the Johnnies' 4-game winning streak.
SC's standout player in the win was
Michael Ferns. The junior running back caught one touchdown.
Johnstown-Monroe's
Tyler Thompson played well. The senior quarterback ran for four touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to 20 on the year.
JM came in allowing just 16.8 points per game this season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Johnstown-Monroe, which notched a 42-7 victory over Ironton in its previous outing.
