Lometa had a rough outing against Brookesmith last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Lometa took the contest and then some with a 60-14 victory on Friday over Bynum. Lometa were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Lometa will stay at home in two weeks against Jonesboro at 7:30 PM. Lometa will be strutting in after a win while Jonesboro will be stumbling in from a loss. Bynum will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Kopperl at 7:30 PM. Bynum's defense better steel itself: Kopperl are averaging 32.29 points per game.
