Phoebus extended the longest winning streak in AAA Peninsula this week by beating Denbigh, 43-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Bethel was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Kecoughtan. The Bruins came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Heritage's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hurricanes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Richard Outlaw has thrown for 557 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Marcus Hook has three catches for 141 yards. Khalid Abdullah leads the league in rushing with 1228 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Woodside takes on Phoebus. The Wolverines are currently in fifth, while Stan Sexton's team is in first.
