Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and Benjamin Franklin face off this Saturday at 6:30 PM to determine whose season will come to a close. Benjamin Franklin will need to watch out since Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has posted big point totals in its previous seven matchups.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has netted another blowout to add to its collection (now totaling ten) after its most recent game. Everything went its way against Northwest Christian last week as it secured a 42 - 6 win. One of the main ringleaders for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was senior Christian Fetsis, who rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown. Fetsis's touchdown was a 41-yard scramble in the first quarter. This sound performance was nothing new for Fetsis, who has been a rock for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy in the past eight games. Senior Tamerat Mcleod was in the mix too, providing Pusch Ridge Christian Academy with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin didn't have too many spare points last week in its contest with Sabino, but it still walked away with a 35 - 31 win. Junior Chandler Miles was especially active in the win, finding the end zone an impressive five times. This also marked the 6th consecutive game in which Miles rushed for 100+ yards.
Their wins bumped Pusch Ridge Christian Academy to 12-0 and Benjamin Franklin to 11-1. While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
