Bobby Zwigart, the Crusaders went into halftime with a 3-0 lead. The Vikings took the lead for good with a
Jarrett McClenton touchdown run in the third quarter.
The loss snapped Bishop McDevitt's six-game winning streak.
Bishop McDevitt's lone touchdown came on a 78-yard kick return by
Andre Robinson in the fourth quarter.
Archbishop Wood had given up an average of 11.4 points prior to the contest. Bishop McDevitt's 10 points were well below its season average of 44.0 per game.
The loss comes after Bishop McDevitt defeated Cathedral Prep 47-42 last week.
