West Linn reached the Class 6A state championship game last year and returns most of the starters from that club. Leading the way is two-time all-state pick, junior
Tim Tawa in the infield. A two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year in football, Tawa is headed to Stanford to play baseball. He's joined by fellow all-state picks
Will Matheissen and
Brayden Pene in the infield.

2. Sheldon (Eugene)
Head coach: Stan Manley
2015 record: 27-5
The Irish defeated West Linn for the Class 6A state championship last year, their second in three years. Sheldon had four sophomores among the starters last year, including
Zach Diehl (.254),
Tanner Zenke (.269) and
Sam Olsson. Sheldon will miss State Player of the Year Taylor Frost.

3. Jesuit (Portland)
Head coach: Eric Gunderson
2015 record: 19-10-1
The Crusaders lost in the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs, but they return a pair of all-league players in designated hitter
Chris Arpan and pitcher
Matt Young. Jesuit also has two of the state's top juniors in outfielder
John Arndorfer and shortstop
Kyle Knell.

4. Westview (Portland)
Head coach: Steve Antich
2015 record: 21-8
The Wildcats have averaged over 20 wins per season since 2009 with one state championship in 2011. Westview figures to have the state's top senior player this year in pitcher
Kenyon Yovan, who earned all-state honors as a junior. Westview also has returning all-Metro League players
Jayden Hanna in the infield and
Kyle Thompson in the outfield.

5. Summit (Bend)
Head coach: Alan Embree
2015 record: 19-3-1
The Storm fell to eventual champion Liberty in the Class 5A semifinals. Summit returns three players who earned all-state honors, including pitcher
Colby Scott, catcher
Cal Waterman and outfielder
Jason Garcia. Scott and Garcia were both second team while Waterman made the first team.
