LAKE CORMORANT, Miss. -

Lake Cormorant (Miss.) 22-15.
The Jaguars led 14-6 at halftime, but Lake Cormorant recaptured the lead on a touchdown pass by

Deandre Brown with 6:00 to go in the fourth.
DeSoto Central saw its 8-point halftime lead decrease to five entering the fourth.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Southaven school, which was coming off a 21-6 defeat at the hands of Lafayette in its previous game. The loss comes after Lake Cormorant defeated Horn Lake 31-7 last week. The loss snapped Lake Cormorant's two-game winning streak.
Lake Cormorant (2-1) goes up against Hernando in a non-conference game matchup next week, while DeSoto Central (2-2) locks horns with Christian Brothers also in a non-conference game.
