Grove City (Ohio) kept up a steady attack all game long to upset
Findlay (Ohio), 38-10, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Greyhounds led 19-3 at the half.
Grove City grew its lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. GC scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
The final score was a stunner, as the Greyhounds was ranked No. 95 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Ohio, far below Findlay's spot at No. 33.
Findlay's lone touchdown came on a 12-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
The loss comes after Findlay defeated Anthony Wayne 31-14 last week. The win was a nice bounce back for Grove City, which lost to Hilliard Davidson last week, 28-19.
In a non-conference game next week Grove City (1-1) takes on Westerville South, and Findlay (1-1) will go up against Southview also in a non-conference game.
