The biggest upset of the week belonged to Plainfield South, who took down 101st ranked Oswego East, 34-3. Clifton Garrett in the win.
The Cougars moved up to 85 from 125 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwest Prairie. Plainfield South was able to move up by topping the Wolves 34-3.
Oswego's dynamic duo of Steven Frank and Zach West proved to be unstoppable against Romeoville, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Frank threw for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns and West had 117 yards receiving. Trevor Matczak helped Oswego's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 81 yards.

Jeffrey Klank was a key player and the best on defense this week as Minooka topped Plainfield Central. The 6-foot-3 junior.
West was the best receiver in the league this week as Oswego topped Romeoville.
Nathan Gunn was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 149 yards as the Indians defeated Jeff Kuna's team. Victor Turpin also contributed to the rushing game with 117 yards on the ground.
Frank put up the best numbers through the air as the Panthers bested the Spartans.
On the heels of Frank and Tyler Walsh, Oswego has had great success on offense. Frank is tops in the league in passing with 789 yards, while Walsh has rushed for 438 yards this season. Romeoville's Charles Hunter leads the league in receiving yards with 289 on 15 catches.
An important game coming up in Southwest Prairie this week will be when Ken Bublitz's team takes on the Spartans. At the moment, the Cougars are in first, while Romeoville is in fourth.
The Wildcats fell to Minooka 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
