Tim Whitfield ran for two touchdowns and
Leven Hendley added two as well as
Meeker (Okla.) defeated
Hugo (Okla.) 49-20 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Whitfield touchdown run in the first quarter, the Bulldogs led 41-7 at the half.
Meeker expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored two times in the third, including once on a safety.
The Bulldogs put up 27 points in the first quarter en route to the win. Meeker rushed for four touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including one by Whitfield.
The loss comes after Hugo defeated Antlers 24-16 last week. The loss ended Hugo's two-game winning streak.
