Fans got a thrill when Harley Kirsch and Brandon Wellington connected against Marysville-Pilchuck. The connection went for 75 yards, the longest such play in 3A Metro - Mountain this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Eastside Catholic beat the Tomahawks 42-35. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Eastside Catholic's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kirsch has thrown for 2,584 yards and 29 touchdowns this season, while Devon Arbis-Jackson has 60 catches for 922 yards.
Eastside Catholic's Arbis-Jackson is only 78 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the Meadowdale. So far this year, he has acheived 60 catches for 922 yards.
O'Dea led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Mount Si.
