Dominion (Sterling, Va.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 10 points, drop to four before the final whistle blew on a 17-13 victory over
Loudoun County (Leesburg, Va.).
After taking the lead on a field goal in the first quarter, the Titans were up 10-0 at the half.
Dominion saw its 10-point halftime lead fall to three entering the fourth.
The result came as a big surprise as the Raiders came in ranked No. 98 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Virginia, while DHS was ranked No. 199.
The Sterling school came in allowing an average of 18.6 points per game this season.
The win brought Dominion's winning streak to four games.
