Adding to the longest winning streak in A District 7 this week, Kiefer beat Barnsdall 57-43. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Hominy made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,838 from 11,130. The improvement was largely due to a 42-20 victory over Yale last week.
Kiefer's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Justin Rovang threw for 191 and 3 touchdowns and Trysten Edwards had 103 yards receiving. On the ground Trey Sneed chipped in 166 yards. Marcus Shadowens helped Kiefer's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 40 yards.
He was 10-12 with 0 interceptions.
Rovang put up the best numbers through the air as Josh Calvert's team bested the Panthers. Rovang's favorite target this week was Edwards, who caught 4 passes for 103 yards.
Kiefer's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Rovang has thrown for 881 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Edwards has 24 catches for 567 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Kiefer takes on second place Morrison.
