Defending 5A Champion East Central had an easy time with Durant, led by running back Kenny Session. Session rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns, including a 70-yard jaunt, to lead the way for the Cardinals. Two of Session's touchdown runs came in the fourth quarter, as East Central broke open an 18-7 game with 21 points in the final stanza.

Ada, who owns a state-record 19 state football championships, snapped Bishop Kelley's four-game winning streak. Willie Gould scored two touchdowns before leaving the game in the third quarter due an injury.

Bixby freshman running back Dalton Irvin rumbled for a career-high 199 yards as the Spartans scored the first 29 points en route to the easy victory over Rogers. Bixby, under the direction of quarterback Chase Boles, racked up 562 total yards in the victory. Rogers standout Lamar Norman had a 65-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to get the Ropers on the board.

A crowd of 2,500 watched Carl Albert fullback Alonzo Anderson breakout for 281 yards and all five Titan touchdowns on only 11 carries in a one-sided 38-6 victory over Altus. Anderson scored on runs of 46, 35, 46, 26, and 89 yards in the victory.

El Reno defeated District 5A-1 champion Ardmore, 25-22 in double overtime. El Reno was making its first playoff appearance in six years, and came into the contest with an 8-2 record with losses coming to Guthrie and Carl Albert.

Guthrie bombed Chickasha, 48-7. The Bluejays got huge performances from running back Kris King and quarterback Kyle Staley. Staley was injured in the contest and was replaced by Keaton Callins, who led Guthrie to the victory. Staley rushed for two touchdowns and threw for two more, while King added two touchdowns for Guthrie.

Justin Klusak rushed for three touchdowns as McAlester defeated Coweta, 32-21. Klusak scored on runs of 33, 10, and 22 yards all in the first half to lead the Buffaloes.

On Saturday at Cameron Stadium in Lawton, junior quarterback Austin Giles led MacArthur to a 48-14 rout of Noble. Giles hit 6-of-7 passes for 104 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.

Bishop McGuinness rushed for 502 yards en route to a 46-0 thrashing of Deer Creek. It was the sixth shutout of the season for the Fighting Irish defense. Quarterback Joseph Krenger accounted for 165 total yards, while Alex Valle led the way on the ground with 161 yards. Fullback Joey DiGuisti added 135 yards and two touchdowns.

Running back Cody Phipps rushed for 279 yards and three touchdowns as McLoud shocked highly touted Weatherford, 35-28.

Wagoner stayed unbeaten as they defeated Hilldale, 21-7. Wagoner quarterback Durrell Parker broke a 7-7 tie at the start of the fourth quarter with his second touchdown run of the game. Parker rushed for three touchdowns in the victory for the Bulldogs.

Elk City moved to above .500 on the season after a 7-6 upset of Mannford. Elk City quarterback Tyler Newman scored from one-yard out in the third quarter to give the Elks all they needed.

Mike Wright rushed for 195 yards and a touchdown as Glenpool downed Guymon, 28-0. Glenpool's defense held Guymon, who also battled a 340-mile bus ride, to negative 19 yards rushing.

Grove scored all 14 of their points in the third quarter points en route to a 14-7 victory over Idabel. Poteau outlasted Oologah 50-49 in triple-overtime. Broken Bow raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead en route to a 41-7 victory over Miami.
