After three lead changes,
GlenOak (Canton, Ohio) took the lead for good when with 6:00 left in the fourth quarter and held on to upset
McKinley (Canton, Ohio) 24-21 on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles led 14-7 at halftime, but the Bulldogs recaptured the lead on a touchdown with 9:00 remaining in the third.
GlenOak also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 16-7.
The defeat comes as a step back for McKinley, which notched a 35-14 victory over Jackson in its previous outing. With the win GHS extended its winning streak to three games.
GlenOak (6-1) will play a Federal game against Lake next week, while McKinley (5-1) will take on Perry also in a Federal game.
