You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Harvest Community's strategy against Seacoast Christian Academy on Friday. Harvest Community got off to a slow start in their contest last week, but they had no such trouble against Seacoast Christian Academy as they cruised to a 39-point first half. Seacoast Christian Academy countered with 8 points, leaving the score at 39-8 going into the half. The Harvest Community defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match.
Harvest Community will be staying on the road next week, facing off against First Baptist Christian Academy. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Harvest Community and First Baptist Christian Academy will really light up the scoreboard. As for Seacoast Christian Academy, they will face off against First Coast Christian. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Seacoast Christian Academy and five for First Coast Christian.
