We woke up this morning in the land of the majestic Grand Canyon. I have never seen it before today, and the place did not disappoint. The sheer magnitude of the canyon is hard to grasp. You feel so small when standing on the south rim over looking a natural wonder that has been in the making for billions of years. I literally had to pinch myself yesterday to make sure that what I have been doing for the last four weeks hasn't been a dream. Football, unbelievable landscapes, and some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and it is free. I have to say that it is a pretty special thing that Mike and I are doing right now, and I thank everyone that has made it possible. This is only the first thank you to all of you, and there are many more to come.
We are sleeping right outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and hopefully by tomorrow night we will be arriving in Dallas. Euless Trinity is our #2 team in the nation and #1 in the state of Texas, making this game even more exciting. It is also the first league game of the year for both Euless Trinity (3-0) and South Grand Prairie (3-0), so the fans should be in full support. Texas, we are coming back!
