Adamsville have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge McKenzie on the road at McKenzie at 7:00 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
Adamsville had a rough outing against Gibson County three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Adamsville came out on top in a nail-biter against Scotts Hill, sneaking past 9-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for Adamsville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, McKenzie were successful in their last outing against Halls, and they didn't afford Halls any payback this time around. McKenzie were able to grind out a solid victory over Halls last Friday, winning 21-7. 21 seems to be a good number for McKenzie as the team scooped up a victory with the same point total in their contest last week.
Adamsville took the match and then some with a 42-6 win the last time the two teams met over McKenzie. The rematch might be a little tougher for Adamsville since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
