Caleb Rowling and Joshua Bankston provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Upland Christian Academy. The longest such play in Agape (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 74 yards.
The Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 775 from 850. The advance stemmed from a 68-6 victory over Victor Valley Christian last week.
The Royals' dynamic duo of Rowling and Bankston proved tough for Upland Christian Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rowling threw for 92 yards and Bankston had 92 yards receiving.
Ejan O'Rea was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 192 yards on 10 carries as Excelsior Charter lost to Mark Williams' team. Darren Corbn also contributed to the rushing game with 110 yards on the ground.
Lucerne Valley's Daniel Stratton and Gavin White have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Stratton has thrown for 545 yards this season, while White, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 13 catches for 226 yards. Kyle Washington from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 697 yards.
The marquee game in Agape (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Excelsior Charter and California Lutheran. Bill Rivera's team comes into the matchup ranked fourth in the state, while the C-Hawks ranks 23rd.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Eagles take on California Lutheran. Excelsior Charter has allowed 100 points this season, while Dave Peter's team has given up 173. The Eagles allowed 26 points last week as they topped the Mustangs.
There should be lots of points scored when Excelsior Charter and the C-Hawks face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Eagles comes in having scored 244 this season, while California Lutheran has scored 150. Excelsior Charter scored 64 points last week as it bested Lucerne Valley.
