OAK BROOK, Ill. --- McDonald's announced the rosters for its 30th annual All-American Basketball Games over the weekend, pairing a list of 2,500 nominees down to 24 boys and 24 girls.
This year's contest is set to be played at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky., March 28.
As expected, O.J. Mayo (Huntington, W.V.), Kevin Love (Lake Oswego, Ore.), Derrick Rose (Chicago, Ill.), and Eric Gordon (Indianapolis, Ind.) highlighted the boys' selections. Reigning national player of the year Maya Moore of Collins Hill High in Suwannee, Ga., will be the star attraction in Louisville on the girls' side.
The girls will begin the action at 5:30 p.m. (EST) on ESPNU. The boys will follow at 8 p.m. (EST) on ESPN.
The POWERade Jam Fest - featuring a dunk contest and three-point shooting contest - will be held March 26 at Bellarmine University in Louisville.
The McDonald's All-American Game is widely considered to be the premier showcase for high school seniors in the country. Recent alumni of the contest include LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and University of Tennessee star Candace Parker.
