MaxPreps profiles six of the standouts from this weekend's Harley Davidson Triple S Jam Fest in Morgantown, W.V.;
Terrelle Pryor (Jeannette, Pa.): The quarterback doubles as a small forward, and quite a good one at that. The 6-foot-6 Pryor was arguably the most athletic player at the Jam Fest. He ran the court well and displayed excellent leaping ability, all with the build of a football player. He also displayed an uncanny ability to knock down 3-pointers. Pryor will most likely play both sports in college, and will have no problem competing in either sport in any major conference.
Mason Plumlee (Christ School, N.C.): The 6-11 Plumlee is a hot commodity. At the Jam Fest, he showed why he is so highly sought after. Plumlee is an athletic, agile big man who never stops chasing down rebounds and loose balls. Only heading into his junior year, Plumlee has range on his jump shot that is rare for a player his size. Many top college programs already have their eye on Plumlee.
Brett McClanahan (Nitro, W.V.): McClanahan, a West Virginia native, played with the D-1 Greyhounds after spending last weekend at the RBK U camp. A very intelligent player, he rarely makes an errant pass or a defensive mistake. At 6-5, he can shoot, penetrate, dish it out, and finish on the fast break. Although the Greyhounds made an early exit, he certainly made an impression and will continue to do so this winter at Nitro High School.
Temidayo Adebayo (Archbishop Carroll, D.C.): The athletic 7-footer has some work to do on his offensive game, but he is already a defensive presence. Adebayo blocks or disrupts many shots; though his talent is evident, he is still relatively unrefined. If he has a big senior campaign at Archbishop Carroll, expect Adebayo to land at a top Division I program.
Kenny Ross (Academy of the New Church, Pa.): Ross was a huge reason the Renegades made it all the way to the tournament semifinals, despite not having a player over 6-6 on the roster. Ross did an excellent job handling and distributing the ball, feeding teammates Sam Givens and Joe Hill. Ross was a marksman from outside, hitting several clutch three pointers to rally his team. He will be a junior at Academy of the New Church this upcoming season, along with Renegades teammates Clay Penecale and brothers Sam and Shannon Givens.
Chris Braswell (DeMatha Catholic, Md./Hargrave Military Academy, Va.): Braswell has been on the national radar for a while, formerly playing at storied DeMatha Catholic. Playing this summer with Triple Threat, Braswell looks stronger and is an imposing figure on the blocks. The 6-8 Georgetown recruit will spend this season at Hargrave Military Academy, and his presence will certainly be missed at DeMatha. However, the Stags will attempt to fill the void with 6-10 Josh Selby and 6-5 Naji Hibbert transferring in this fall.
