Say hello to Greater Atlanta Christian: the team broke into the power rankings at the 22nd position after its notable last-week performance. It put the hurt on Jenkins with a conclusive 51 - 14 victory. No one had a larger role in the success than senior Kyler Mcmichael, who brought his A game into the contest. He picked up 154 yards on the ground.
No Stoppin 'Em
It was another game, another high-octane performance for North Gwinnett last week (their 8th in a row). It claimed a 51 - 41 victory over Marietta. One star in particular for North Gwinnett was junior Tyler Goodson, who rushed for 295 yards and three touchdowns. The combined 92-point effort made this the highest-scoring game in the power rankings for the week.
Movin on Up
It isn't too difficult to come out on top when you enjoy a 253-yard edge over your opponent, and Rabun County had just that last week. The final score between it and Screven County was a 56 - 14 blowout in Rabun County's favor. Rabun County was heavily favored coming into this contest, and the results showcase why. Its success was rewarded with a 23 boost in the power rankings, the biggest improvement of any team.
