Kingfisher (Okla.) took the lead for good when they ran for a touchdown with 11:00 left in the fourth quarter and held on to upset
Blanchard (Okla.) 30-23 on Saturday.
The Lions pulled ahead on a touchdown pass by
Blake Owen to
Collin Andrews, and subsequently went into halftime leading 16-9. The Yellowjackets scored the winning points with a rushing touchdown that came in the fourth quarter.
Kingfisher got revenge for last year's 28-21 loss to Blanchard with the victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Blanchard, which notched a 20-17 victory over Plainview in its previous outing.
