St. Paul was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from eighth to fifth in 5A District 6. The Wolves defeated Hammond 62-13 earlier in the week.
St. Paul took down the Tornadoes 62-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ryan O'Krepki threw for 309 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win.

Marcus Gaines was the best wideout in the league this week as Kenny Sears' team topped Hammond. Gaines tallied 2 receptions for 138 yards. Jalen McCleskey helped St. Paul's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 84 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Wolves' O'Krepki and Mitreon Brumfield have proven to be a lethal combination. O'Krepki has thrown for 997 yards this season, while Brumfield has 17 catches for 306 yards. Northshore's Bryce Perez leads the league in rushing yards with 444.
The marquee game in 5A District 6 this week will be the clash between St. Paul and Mandeville. The Wolves enters the contest ranked 25th in the state, while the Skippers ranks 24th.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when St. Paul takes on Mandeville. The Wolves' offense has scored 159 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Guy Lecompte's team has allowed only 46 on the year.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when St. Paul and the Skippers face off next week.
