King's Academy ran circles around Homestead on Friday, and the extra yardage (345.1 yards vs. 186.3 yards) paid off. King's Academy were fully in charge, breezing past Homestead 43-6. The success made it back-to-back wins for King's Academy.
King's Academy started the contest off right with 23 first-half points. Meanwhile, Homestead couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 23-0 heading into the break. The King's Academy defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the game.
No one put up better numbers for King's Academy than senior Bralyn Lux, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns. Junior Jayden Frazier was in the mix, too, providing King's Academy with 2 touchdowns. The victory bumped their record up to 2-1. Homestead are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
King's Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Aragon. As for Homestead, they will face off against Los Gatos.
