Corey Nielsen of Gahr and Andy Magee of Chadwick both went over 3,000 yards passing on the season last week while Fall River's Garrett Barnett had the best rushing performance with 346 yards against Etna.
Passing/Receiving
Cory Nielsen, Gahr, had his fourth 400-yard performance of the season, completing 18 of 29 passes for 421 yards and five touchdowns in a 48-9 win over Paramount. He also ran three times for 53 yard. Teammate Deondre Powell caught eight passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns while Shaan Johnson grabbed four passes for 147 yards and two scores in the win.
Andy Magee, Chadwick, went over 3,000 yards on the season with 361 yards in a 35-14 loss to Viewpoint. He completed 25 of 43 passes with one touchdown. Dolphin teammate Tim Watson caught seven passes for 117 yards.
Jamie Jensen, Gilroy, helped the Mustangs win their sixth straight game by completing 19 of 46 passes for 356 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-14 win over North Salinas. Sean Hale caught nine passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns for Gilroy.
Matt Barkley, Mater Dei, suffered his first loss of the season, but still managed to complete 22 of 37 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-12 defeat at the hands of Lutheran.
Cary Grossart, Folsom, has proven to be very consistent this year, throwing for at least 221 yards each week. He had 252 yards on 22 of 36 passing in a 24-20 loss to Pleasant Grove. He also ran seven times for 49 yards and two touchdowns.
Jamie McGee, Sage Hill, bounced back from a loss last week to beat Brethren Christian 37-28 and completed 19 of 36 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns. McGee also scored a rushing touchdown.
James Boyd, Jordan, made the most out of his 10 completions in 15 attempts by throwing for 338 yards and four touchdowns in a 70-21 win over South Gate. Delvon Purvis caught four passes for 115 yards while Artis Smith caught four passes for 111 yards. Both had two receiving touchdowns.
Josh Bowen, Weston Ranch, lifted his team past Sonora 36-35, by completing 19 of 31 passes for 270 yards and five touchdowns. Bryan Thompson caught eight passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
David Glass, Analy, completed 22 of 36 passes for 228 yards in a 21-6 loss to Windsor.
Adrian Diaz, Franklin, came up big with six touchdown passes in a 55-27 win over Belmont. He completed 24 of 32 passes for 346 yards. Patrick Donohue caught five passes for 112 yards
Daniel Young, Los Altos, played well in a 49-16 loss to Palo Alto, completing 18 of 31 passes for 244 yards and a pair of scores.
Graham Wilbert, Valencia, lifted the Vikings over West Ranch 36-6 by completing 25 of 31 passes for 359 yards and four touchdowns. Stephen London caught nine passes for 136 yards while Sean Maxoutopoulis landed seven passes for 119 yards.
Brendan Chambers, Saddleback Valley Christian, ran five times for 104 yards and completed 5 of 8 passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns in a 54-0 win over Liberty Christian.
Dayne Crist, Notre Dame, lifted the Knights to their biggest win of the season, 51-32 over Bishop Amat, by completing 10 of 19 passes for 232 yards and rushing four times for 84 yards.
Ken Johnston, Carmel, led the Padres to a 32-8 win over Soledad with 23 completions in 31 attempts for 291 yards and five touchdowns.
Caleb Herring, Citrus Hill, kept the Hawks unbeaten on the season at 10-0 with 17 completions in 21 attempts for 298 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-22 win over Beaumont.
Robert Fuller, Arroyo Valley, lost in a 40-32 shootout to Colton while completing 22 of 36 passes for 236 yards and two scores.
Matt Baca, Ayala, kept busy in a 24-17 loss to Glendora as he threw a season-high 43 times, completing 21, for 358 yards and two touchdowns. Damon Baca caught 10 passes for 170 yards while David Quiroga caught nine passes for 179 yards.
Jose Garay, South El Monte, lifted the Eagles to a 41-0 win over Mountain View by throwing four touchdown passes and completing 17 of 24 passes for 300 yards. He also ran 11 times for 78 yards. Tommy Cogburn caught 11 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
Anthony Cukar, Del Mar, kept the Dons undefeated on the season at 9-0 by completing 14 of 25 passes for 249 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-10 win over Silver Creek.
Mike Bundy, El Segundo, squeaked past Lawndale 45-44 by completing 15 of 25 passes for 232 yards and three scores. Joey Schaffhauser caught six passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
Cody Vaz, St. Mary's, has the Rams riding high after a 61-27 win over Edison where he completed 11 of 15 passes for 265 yards and five touchdowns. Nick Copriviza caught six passes for 107 yards while Josh Harper caught four passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns.
Peter Mitchell, Bakersfield, led the Drillersto their sixth straight win with a 28-10 victory over Liberty. He completed 10 of 12 passes for 245 yards and two scores.
Ryan Griffin, Chaminade, helped the Eagles rebound from three straight losses to beat St. Francis 19-14. He had 23 completions in 40 attempts for 250 yards and two touchdowns. Ron McCrory caught 10 passes for 141 yards.
Ryan Nordbeck, Riverside Poly, came up short in a 20-13 loss to Arlington despite completing 27 of 40 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown. Jake Marisnick caught 11 passes for 171 yards for Poly.
Jesse Diaz, Roosevelt, led the Rough Riders to a 23-15 win over Garfield by completing 19 of 28 passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns. Manny Ayon caught six passes for 155 yards.
AJ Springer, Miller, had a huge game in a 28-27 loss to Redlands East Valley, rushing 22 times for 108 yards and completing 22 of 28 passes for 230 yards and two scores.
Jared Gavard, El Dorado, paced the Cougars in a 24-21 loss to Bear River by completing 17 of 33 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns. Trevor Peterson caught six passes for 130 yards and all three touchdowns.
Clint Johnson, Etna, completed 11 of 23 passes for a season-high 283 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-35 loss to Fall River. Skyler Schneider had a huge game, catching six passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns.
Logan Buck, Durham, threw 24 times with 13 completions for 237 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-25 loss to Colusa.
Collin Ramirez, Red Bluff, completed 10 of 18 passes for 224 yards and three scores in a 49-26 loss to Foothill.
Brad Curtis, San Clemente, lifted the Tritons to a 35-0 win over Aliso Niguel with four touchdown passes and 213 yards on 21 of 30 passing.
Angel Alejandre, Rosemead, paced the Panthers in a 31-20 win over Arroyo with three touchdowns while completing 17 of 27 passes for 243 yards. Albert Aulcy caught 10 passes for 175 yards and two scores.
Sean Ryan, Vintage, helped the Crushers edge Wood 34-30 by completing 12 of 16 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns. Derek Long caught four passes for 159 yards and two scores.
Clark Eckert, Monte Vista Christian, threw for 349 yards to lift the Mustangs past Watsonville 41-35. He completed 18 of 26 passes with a touchdown. Matt Griffin caught eight passes for 176 yards while Andrew Sutton caught five passes for 120 yards.
Bobby Barnes, Tulare Union, kept the Redskins unbeaten at 10-0 with a 37-20 win over Tulare Western. He hit 15 of 27 passes for 223 yards and two scores.
Jordan Thomas, Canyon, led the Comanches past Brea Olinda, 42-19, by completing 19 of 21 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns. Tubotein Taylor caught three passes for 122 yards and Colton Grandbouche grabbed nine passes for 106 yards.
Doug Shumway, Agoura, completed 21 of 33 passes for 239 yards and ran 19 times for 53 yards in a 41-19 loss to Westlake.
Cannon Bernarding, Westmont, threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns (16 of 24) in a 32-18 win over Santa Teresa.
Corey Harms, Healdsburg, helped the Greyhounds edge Petaluma 38-35 by throwing for 239 yards and four touchdowns and completing 12 of 21 passes. Jared Garcia caught nine passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns.
Brian Partida, Arroyo, completed 16 of 25 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-20 loss to Rosemead.
Darius Bell, Riordan, rushed 11 times for 116 yards in a 21-21 tie with St. Francis and also completed 16 of 33 passes for 295 yards and three scores. Daniel Cannon caught eight passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile Sam Scudellari of St. Francis completed 22 of 37 passes for 266 yards and three scores with Ryan Van Amburg catching nine passes for 127 yards.
Jake Holtz, Millikan, lifted the Rams over Roosevelt 38-28 by completing 19 of 25 passes for 251 yards and a score.
Josh Nunes, Upland, threw 21 times with 10 completions and 227 yards in a 30-0 win over Alta Loma.
Rushing
Kenjon Barner, Notre Dame Riverside, went over 200 yards for the seventh time with 265 yards on 31 carries with three touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 87 yards and a touchdown.
TJ Nelson, Coast Union, paced the Broncos in a 38-17 win over Mendota with 294 yards on 33 carries with four touchdowns.
CJ Woodbury, Foothill, went over 300 yards for the second time with 303 yards on 21 carries and five touchdowns in a 46-22 win over Dixon.
Nick Kalpin, Los Gatos, came up big in a crucial 37-20 win over Milpitas with 319 yards on 40 carries and a touchdown.
Jorge Chaidez, Bell-Jeff, joined the 300-yard club with 302 yards on 16 carries and four touchdowns in a 56-7 win over St. Genevieve. He also caught a 63-yard touchdown pass.
Christopher Polk, Redlands East Valley, lifted the Wildcats over Miller with 259 yards on 25 carries with three touchdowns.
David Henderson, Lincoln, motored for 287 yards on 17 carries with three touchdowns in a 49-28 win over Lowell.
Ray Holley, El Modena, scooted for 252 yards on 27 carries with three touchdowns in a 33-13 win over Villa Park.
Chris Harris, Duarte, ran 31 times for 203 yards and a touchdown in a 10-7 loss to La Puente.
Garrett Barnett, Fall River, ran for a Northern Section best 346 yards on 40 carries with five touchdowns in a 42-35 win over Etna.
Raymond Juarez, Roosevelt, ran for 232 yards on 26 carries in a losing effort against Fresno, 40-26.
Chris Davi, Rio Vista, ran 30 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-20 win over Delta.
Cameron Loeffler, Exeter, picked up 248 yards on 26 carries with three touchdowns in a 27-26 loss to Coalinga.
Taylor Centell, Temecula Valley, cruised for 246 yards on 35 carries in a 35-28 loss to Mureitta Valley.
Cierre Wood, Santa Clara, backed up his 377-yard effort last week against Bishop Diego with a 219-yard, three touchdown performance on just six carries in a 48-3 win over Fillmore.
Marcus Cooley, Calvary Temple, lifted the Warriors to a 55-9 win over Elliot Christian with 280 yards on 15 carries with three touchdowns.
