Tyron Crockom of Pasadena and Adrian Pacheco of Selma had two of the top performances this week in California. Crockom threw for 436 yards while Pacheco ran for 376 to lead this week's Top Performances.
Passing
Corey Nielson, Gahr, helped his team edge Lynwood, 35-28, by completing 19 of 24 passes for 333 yards and three touchdowns. Nielsen leads the state with 2,433 yards passing.
Matt Barkley, Mater Dei, kept the Monarchs undefeated with 311 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-7 win over Santa Margarita. He completed 25 of 42 passes with one interception.
Tanner Rust, El Capitan, threw for 305 yards and two touchdowns while completing 21 of 32 passes in a 29-21 loss to El Cajon Valley. Rust leads the San Diego Section in passing with 2,335 yards.
Andy Magee, Chadwick, had his run of six plus-TD games ended at three in a row, but still managed to throw four touchdowns in a 41-21 victory and keep the Dolphins undefeated. He completed 23 of 28 passes for 248 yards.
Jamie Jensen, Gilroy, continues to lead the Central Coast Section in passing after throwing for 393 yards in a 49-21 win over Alisal. He completed 23 of 39 passes with four touchdowns.
Cary Grossart, Folsom, the Sac-Joaquin Section leader threw for a season-best 340 yards on just 13 completions in 23 attempts in a 27-26 win over Monterey Trail.
Jamie McGee, Sage Hill, helped his team edge Linfield Christian 36-35, by completing 21 of 29 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns.
Dylan Morrow, Mission Prep, had one of hits best outings of the season as he threw six touchdown passes in a 68-6 win over Kings Christian. He completed 14 of 19 passes for 288 yards and also ran nine times for 119 yards.
Tyson Perez, Hanford, led the Bullpups to an easy 48-14 win over Mt. Whitney as he completed 12 of 16 passes for 278 yards and four touchdowns.
Brendan Chambers, Saddleback Valley Christian, completed just 9 of 11 passes, but they were good for 266 yards and four touchdowns in a 54-7 win over Bloomington Christian. He also ran eight times for 59 yards.
Tyron Crockom, Pasadena, had the highest yardage total of anyone in California this week after throwing for 436 yards in a 43-29 loss to Arcadia. He completed 21 of 26 passes with four touchdowns.
Marcus Sanchez, Camarillo, went over 300 yards for the third time this year, completing 23 of 35 passes for 322 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-7 win over Hueneme.
Kevin Ramay, Brethren Christian, had close to 500 yards of total offense as he completed 26 of 38 passes for 397 yards and five touchdowns and also ran eight times for 86 yards in a 40-13 win over Santa Paula.
Anthony Salter, Stagg, nearly led his team to a win over West, falling 28-27 despite 263 yards passing and three touchdowns. He completed 17 of 35 passes in the loss.
Dayne Crist, Notre Dame, led the Knights to a 44-17 win over Chaminade by throwing for 240 yards and four touchdowns and completing 11 of 21 passes.
Alex Beaton, Western Christian, tossed three touchdown passes and completed 12 of 23 passes for 269 yards, but the Fighting Lancers were overwhelmed by St. Margaret's 70-20.
James Boyd, Jordan, had his best outing of the season as he completed 20 of 38 passes for 401 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-7 win over South East.
Darius Banks, Culver City, kept his team undefeated on the season by completing 14 of 22 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-26 win over Morningside.
Adam Barry, Moorpark, completed 18 of 40 passes for 275 yards and two scores in a 33-27 loss to Agoura.
Drew McAllister, Monte Vista, led his team to a 36-7 win over Terra Linda by completing 13 of 19 passes for 211 yards and also rushing six times for 67 yards.
Donnay Ragland, Artesia, threw for 221 yards and completed 16 of 28 passes with two touchdowns in a 42-21 loss to Norwalk. He also ran 19 times for 54 yards.
Ryan Nordbeck, Riverside Poly, helped the Bears beat King 48-42 by completing 20 of 33 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns.
Anthony Cukar, Del Mar, paced his team to a 26-12 win over Mt. Pleasant with 262 yards and two touchdowns. He completed 17 of 29 attempts.
Ken Johnston, Carmel, had his highest yardage total of the season in a 54-38 shootout loss to Sacred Heart Prep. He completed 27 of 41 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns.
Justin Flores, Sierra Vista, completed 15 of 23 passes for 262 yards and a touchdown in the Dons' 34-18 loss to LaPuente.
Matt Baca, Ayala, helped his team edge Damien 34-33 by completing 26 of 40 passes for 364 yards and five touchdowns.
Dylan Finch, Golden Valley, threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-26 win over Frontier. The sophomore completed 12 of 23 passes with no interceptions.
Jose Garay, South El Monte, threw for 284 yards and three touchdowns while completing 13 of 24 passes in leading his team to a 20-7 win over Gabrielino.
Mike Gundy, El Segundo, had a solid outing in a 47-19 loss to Centennial as he completed 24 of 38 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown.
Richard Brehuat, Los Osos, paced his team with 208 yards and three touchdowns while completing 12 of 16 passes. He also ran six times for 69 yards.
Terry Paradez, Bonita, led his team to a 42-7 win over Wilson by completing 15 of 24 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns.
Caleb Herring, Citrus Hill, kept the Hawks unbeaten with five touchdown passes and 267 yards in a 46-14 win over Banning. Herring completed 17 of 25 passes.
Tyler Bray, Kingsburg, helped his team bounce back from a loss last week to Dinuba to beat Coalinga 35-22. He completed 13 of 19 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns.
Ebahn Feathers, Washington Union, was back on target this week, throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns while completing 15 of 20 passes. He also ran seven times for 62 yards. His rushing total put him over 1,000 yards rushing and passing for the season.
Raymond Huizar, Pacifica, was 13 of 18 for 241 yards and a touchdown in a 21-20 loss to Valencia.
Obed Cervantes, Marshall, led his team to a 29-16 win over Franklin by coming up with a very efficient 14-for-15 effort for 271 yards and a touchdown.
Rushing
Adrian Pacheco, Selma, moved up the state rushing list by churning 27 times for 376 yards and four touchdowns in a 56-34 win over Dinuba.
Kenjon Barner, Notre Dame - Riverside, went over 200 yards for the fifth time this year, rushing for 201 yards on 23 carries and a season-high six touchdowns in a 47-20 win over Beaumont.
Deonte Williams, Pleasant Grove, coasted for 214 yards on 28 carries with a touchdown in his team's 28-6 win over Sheldon.
CJ Woodbury, Foothill, ran for 218 yards on 30 carries and three touchdowns in a 35-8 win over Center.
Donald Green, Compton, had over 300 yards of offense as he ran 21 times for 238 yards and caught two passes for 115 yards in a 25-6 win over Jordan. Both of his receptions went for touchdowns, including one for 80 yards.
Giovannie Dixon, Reseda, romped for 300 yards and five touchdowns on 22 carries in a 47-37 loss to Kennedy.
Ryan Bass, Centennial, ran for 214 yards on 16 carries with five touchdowns in a 69-7 win over Santiago.
Jorge Chaidez, Bell-Jeff, went over 200 yards for the fifth time this year, gaining 233 yards on 29 carries in a 28-13 win over Salesian.
Chris Harris, Duarte, scooted his way to 271 yards on 24 carries, including a 93-yard run for a touchdown. He had five touchdowns in the 49-0 win over Workman.
Jontell Reedom, Tulare, led his team to a 27-21 win over Delano with 223 yards on 24 carries along with a 65-yard touchdown reception.
David Henderson, Lincoln, carried just 11 times but ran for 211 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-6 win over Burton.
Marselius Williams, Grant, ran for 203 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns in a 61-0 rout of Kennedy.
Carl Winston, Serra, ran 21 times for 223 yards and three touchdowns in a 65-6 win over Bosco Tech.
Elias Ochoa, Orange Cove, had his best game of the season, rushing 16 times for 216 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-16 win over Avenal.
Receiving
Donnie McWhirter, Western Christian, became the first player in California to track 1,000 yards receiving after catching six passes for 171 yards in a 70-20 loss to St. Margaret's.
George Johnson, Mission Prep, caught seven passes for 184 yards and a touchdown in a 68-6 win over Kings Christian.
Antwon Moura, Culver City, caught six passes for 150 yards in a 42-26 win over Morningside.
