After flying high against Redmond last Friday, North Bend came back down to earth. On Friday, North Bend were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 34-39 to Ridgeview. The loss was a vexing one since North Bend were expected to win based on their state ranking.
The defeat dropped North Bend's record to 5-2. The victory was the 4th in a row for Ridgeview, as they raised their record to 4-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. North Bend will look to defend their home turf next week against Willamette at 7:00 PM. As for Ridgeview, they will face off against Thurston. Thurston have averaged 50.67 points over the course of their past five games, so Ridgeview might be in for a challenge.
