After an extremely early flight out of Oakland today, TC and I arrived here in Orange County. We are staying in Laguna Hills, and it's beautiful here. I am hoping at some point to head west a little bit and take a dip in the Pacific Ocean, something I've never done before...
De La Salle should be arriving down here tomorrow morning. I believe they are scheduled to practice at Santa Margarita (Carson Palmer's alma mater), before having a team dinner tomorrow. Mission Viejo will also have a team dinner. Trevor and I are hoping to get to both, at least for a little bit of each. We are really excited to get to interact more with the players before the big game on Saturday.
There was an outstanding game tonight in Santa Ana. Mater Dei held off a talented Corona Centennial squad. Mitch Stephens was down here covering that game, so be sure to check out his game story. He'll also be around the Servite game tomorrow, and, of course, the national game of the week, De La Salle vs. Mission Viejo.
