Jessieville simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Dierks 48-12.
Jessieville got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Dierks and cruised to a 36-point first half. Dierks came up with 6 to make it 36-6 heading into the break. The Jessieville defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the matchup.
No one put up better numbers for Jessieville than freshman Carson Hair, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 247 yards and 4 touchdowns. Senior Cage Glisson also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards in the victory. The win bumped Jessieville's record up to 2-1. Dierks are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Jessieville will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Perryville. As for Dierks, they will face off against Gurdon.
