Lutheran West took their match against Oberlin on Friday by a conclusive 59-34 score. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Lutheran West, who can brag about six blowout wins.
The Lutheran West offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 45 points. Oberlin countered with 12 points, leaving the score at 45-12 going into the half. Lutheran West put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and six points allowed from the defense.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Lutheran West will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Clearview. Oberlin will stay at home against Brooklyn at 7:00 PM. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
