Pebble Hills took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against El Dorado on Thursday as they made off with a 44-13 win. El Dorado can consider this payback for the 44-49 loss they dealt Pebble Hills the last time the teams encountered one another.
Pebble Hills's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 37 points in the first half. Meanwhile, El Dorado couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 37-0 heading into the break. Pebble Hills were outperformed in the second half 7-13 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. This was the first game for both teams, giving Pebble Hills a 1-0 record and starting El Dorado off at 0-1.
Next week, Pebble Hills take on Midland at 5:00 PM. El Dorado will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Coronado at 7:30 PM.
