Jake Young ran for five touchdowns to lift
Hanford (Calif.) to a 41-0 defeat over Golden West (Visalia, Calif.). The scores gave the junior nine touchdowns for the year.
The Bullpups were up 28-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Young in the first quarter.
Hanford expanded its lead to 41 points entering the fourth quarter. HHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Young touchdown run.

Nathaniel Hunt and a Young touchdown run in the quarter.
Young was the top performer for HHS. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
The Bullpups had struggled this season, allowing 34.3 points per game. However, Hanford's defense dug in and limited the Trailblazers below their season average of 4.8 points per game.
HHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 43-2.
Golden West has now lost four games in a row, including a 55-0 loss versus Lemoore last week. The win was a nice bounce back for the Bullpups, which lost to Redwood last week, 20-13.
Hanford (1-7) will play a West Yosemite game against Mt. Whitney next week, while Golden West (1-6) will take on Hanford West also in a West Yosemite game.
