The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Clarendon takes on Vega in the first playoff game of the year. Clarendon has never lost back-to-back, and it wants to keep it that way.
Clarendon kept its home record unblemished after another positive outing on its own turf. Things didn't go well at all for it last week, where the team lost 49 - 0 to Wellington. Clarendon was in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 36 - 0. As for Vega, it won a game last week that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Shamrock 20 - 19.
Clarendon's defeat dropped it to 9-1 while Vega's win brought it to 6-5. We'll find out if Clarendon can recover from its defensive difficulties last week or if Vega gives the team a hard time.
