The Colony had a rough outing against Reedy last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. The Colony had enough points to win and then some against Byron Nelson on Friday, taking their matchup 42-24.
The Colony started the game off right with 32 first-half points. Byron Nelson put up 10, so the score was 32-10 at the half. The Colony were outperformed in the second half 10-14 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 2-1. Byron Nelson are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
The Colony will stay at home in two weeks against Centennial at 7:00 PM. Byron Nelson will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Fossil Ridge at 7:00 PM.
