Lakeland Christian's Rafeal Pressley recorded the longest rushing play in 3A District 6 this season in his game against Tenoroc last week. Pressley scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 193 on the day as his team bested the Titans.
Lakeland Christian was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, Diane Klages's team triumphed over Tenoroc 35-27.
The Vikings' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christian Alexander threw for 107 and two touchdowns and Brad Peace had 51 yards receiving. Leroy Deshazor helped Lakeland Christian's passing attack out by catching two balls for 40 yards.
Lakeland Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alexander has thrown for 758 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Deshazor has 11 catches for 213 yards. Pressley leads the league in rushing with 517 yards.
