The defending champion in Class 3A is out, after Marlow victory over Tuttle, 16-14. Caleb Wortham kicked a 33-yard field goal with 2:24 remaining to give Marlow the lead for good. It was Marlow's second victory over Tuttle on the season after they beat the Tigers 8-7 in the season-opener. Chris Walden opened the scoring for Marlow in the first quarter as he rumbled 64-yards for a touchdown.

Hugo's Derrick Locke was at it again in a 26-14 victory over Vinita. Locke rushed for 289 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Buffaloes to the victory. Locke scored on runs of 22, 14, 34, and 1 yards. On the season, Locke now has 2,921 yards rushing on the season and 46 touchdowns through 11 games.

Ty Jordan scored three touchdowns to lead Sequoyah (Claremore) in a 48-7 rout over Muldrow.

Seminole's Tim Stillwell had 154 yards and three touchdowns as Seminole defeated Metro Christian. Seminole trailed 16-14 heading into the fourth quarter until Stillwell took over on scoring runs from 1 and 2 yards.

On Saturday, freshman quarterback Beau Marslan engineered a 59-yard drive in the final 2:30, capped off by an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jake Collins to give Locust Grove a 31-28 upset over Victory Christian. Marslan was stellar in the victory, tossing three touchdown passes and rushing for one. Two of his scoring strikes were to Josh Collins.

Class 2A Notes
Millwood's all-everything quarterback Gerald Jones put in a solid effort in a 28-2 victory over Fairview. Jones tossed two touchdown passes to Tramain Swindall, rushed for another touchdown, and hauled back a fumble return 28 yards for a score.Cascia Hall remained undefeated with a 52-19 demolition of Westville. Junior running back Denny Clement ran for four touchdowns, and Ryan Zabienski added two for the Commandoes. Cascia Hall raced out to a 38-7 halftime lead before Clement hit paydirt on runs of 39 and 43 yards in the third quarter to put Westville away for good.It was the Kevin Smart show as Sperry downed Keys, 54-8. Smart scored three rushing touchdowns from 48, 58, and 79 yards in the first half, and also hauled in a 60-yard touchdown pass all before halftime in the rout. Smart finished with 320 rushing yards on the evening for Sperry.Vfastv Locust is finally gaining form for Vian, who trounced Morris, 35-0. Locust sat out much of the regular season due to disciplinary reasons. Locust rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns, while quarterback Seth Sloan added 144 through the air and 105 yards and a touchdown on the ground to pace Vian.

Tonkawa, the defending Class A state champion, was ousted by Woodland, 3-0...Washington's Tyler Simmons rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-0 victory over Walters. Simmons pushed his rushing totals on the 2006 season to 1,918 yards and 29 touchdowns.Other Class A contenders such as Pawnee, Okeene, and Rush Springs rolled, while Crescent narrowly defeated Foyil, 14-13.The favorite still appears to be Velma-Alma, who pitched a shutout over Dibble, 26-0. The shutout over Dibble is their eighth of the season thus far.
