Enid Rolls over Mustang
ÿ
It's official. The glass slipper fits for Enid. A week after pulling a shocker in defeating Washington (Tulsa), one of the Class 6A favorites, Enid's amazing playoff run continued with a 55-7 drubbing of Mustang Friday night.
ÿ
Enid running back Justin Glenn rushed for 133 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Plainsmen offense, which piled up a season-high 477 yards. Oklahoma commit Austin Box threw for 201 yards and rushed for 68 more to pace Enid.
ÿ
Corbin Bigheart intercepted four passes from Mustang quarterback Brock Feldman, who threw five of Mustang's six interceptions on the evening. Enid's Matthew Athey added two interceptions, including a 77-yarder for a touchdown.
ÿ
Mustang finally got on the board with 5:05 remaining in the fourth quarter with a touchdown pass to David Balenseifen, but Enid was already in command with a 55-0 lead.

KingJack Decks Westmoore
ÿ
Owasso upset previously unbeaten Westmoore, 31-19, to advance to play Enid in the Class 6A semifinals. KingJack Washington rushed for career-highs with 245 yards and four touchdowns to spearhead the effort for the Rams.
ÿ
Troy Harcrow completed 10-of-13 passes for 102 yards to give Owasso efficiency from the quarterback position. Owasso's losses on the season were to Washington (Tulsa) and Jenks.

Without Stout, Roughers Beat Norman North
ÿ
Muskogee earned another shot at Jenks without the services of highly-recruited running back Dre' Stout, defeating Norman North 38-10. Jarryd Horn filled in for Stout, rushing for four touchdowns to lead the Roughers to the victory.
ÿ
On Oct. 6, Muskogee fell 28-3 to Jenks. If you are going to beat Norman North, do it now. A crew of sophomores led the Timberwolves to a 6-6 record on the campaign, led by quarterback Tyler Tettleton and running back Beau Blakenship. Norman North could be one of the outstanding Class 6A teams in years to come.

Jenks Overcomes Shaky First Half to Oust Lawton
ÿ
Lawton held a 12-9 halftime lead over top-ranked Jenks until the Trojans took over in the second half for a 29-12 victory at Cameron Stadium in Lawton.
ÿ
Chris Adkins rushed for 191 yards on 28 carries and scored two second half touchdowns to lead the comeback for the Trojans. Both of Adkins' scores came in the third quarter, first on a touchdown reception via Mark Ginther from 12-yards. Adkins added a 3-yard plunge to give Jenks all they needed.

ÿ
East Central running back Kenny Session rushed for 192 yards to effectively end El Reno's dream season, 28-20. Session scored two of his three touchdowns on the night on carries from 1-yard and 57-yards to give the Cardinals a 14-0 lead.
ÿ
C.J. Raney cut the deficit to 14-7 in the second quarter for El Reno on a 7-yard touchdown run, before East Central quarterback Brooklyn Fox hit Corey Taylor on a 26-yard scoring strike to make it 21-7 at the half in favor of the Cardinals.
ÿ
El Reno refused to go away without a fight. El Reno quarterback Corey Powell scampered 20-yards for a touchdown in the third quarter, which was followed up by an Alex Weaver field-goal from 30-yards to cut the East Central advantage to 21-17.
ÿ
Fox hit Session on a 19-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to extend the advantage to 28-17. Weaver's second field goal of the game from 40 yards cut it back to 28-20, but it wasn't enough for the Indians.
ÿ
MacArthur's Fourth-Quarter Comeback Halts Ada's Run
ÿ
Lawton MacArthur quarterback Austin Giles overcame a shaky first-half performance to throw two fourth quarter touchdown passes to give the Highlanders a 21-17 comeback victory over Ada.
ÿ
Giles hit Neicko Williams on a 6-yard scoring pass to cut Ada's lead to 17-14. Giles found Levon Butler from 4-yards to give the Highlanders their first lead and the win.
ÿ
Guthrie Shocks Bixby, Avenging 2005 Quarterfinal Setback
ÿ
In a wild contest that had just about everything, Guthrie shocked Bixby to move to the semifinals in Class 5A, 31-15.
ÿ
After J Hensley opened the scoring with a 27-yard field goal, Bixby responded in quick fashion. Quarterback Chase Boles hit Ryan Williams on a 72-yard scoring strike to give the Spartans the lead, which was relinquished when Josh King hauled back the ensuing kickoff 91-yards to paydirt to put the Bluejays back in front.
ÿ
With the teams deadlocked 10-10 at intermission, Guthrie took over with 14 third quarter points. Quarterback Kyle Staley hit Darryl Knight on a 53-yard scoring pass to break the tie. The Bluejays scored later when King recovered a blocked punt in the end zone.
ÿ
Staley sealed the upset when he scored in the fourth quarter from 27-yards. Last season, Guthrie lost to Bixby in the quarterfinals, 28-14.
ÿ
