Farmington came into their this week averaging 30.75 points per game, but Farmington fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-21 punch to the gut against Seaholm on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Farmington a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The loss dropped Farmington's record to 7-2. The victory was the 4th in a row for Seaholm, as they raised their record to 7-1.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week Farmington take on Harrison at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Seaholm, they will face off against Groves. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
