I have been a freelance photographer for over 40 years. My father bought a newspaper when I was 13 and it sparked an interest in printing and photography that has stayed with me. I have owned a specialty printing company for 40 years and have worked a wide variety of photo freelance work over the years. I have both studio and natural light experience, and I presently work primarily in portrait, photojournalism and sports. For 20 years I have been a regular contributor to various local newspapers in and around Washington State.

While I have experience with varying types of photography, and cover Seahawks, Sounders Seawolves etc, shooting high school sports over the last 2 decades has become one of my favorites. I love seeing the athletes give it their all and enjoy capturing the energy.
