Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) and the host South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK), observed Chugiak's volleyball team hold off South Anchorage by a count of 3-2.

The Mustangs (32-15) will now prepare for their contest against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 24-14 record. In their last battle, Service was edged by Dimond (Anchorage, AK), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Wolverines now own a 40-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Soldotna for a non-league battle on Friday, November 14. South Anchorage will meet a Stars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Service (Anchorage, AK). The Stars record now stands at 26-18.
