The Junction City Dragons walloped the host Gurdon Go-Devils football team by a score of 43-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Dierks Outlaws (Dierks, AR) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 17. Junction City will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Outlaws go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 52-23 league loss to Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR).

The Go-Devils (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR). The Hornets go into the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Mineral Springs bounced Foreman (Foreman, AR), 6-0, in a league challenge.
