Jared Sundstrom has been named player of the year. "Jared had an outstanding season for us. He led us to a 9-1 finish (NCL III League Championship), the Semi-finals of the North Coast Section Playoffs and Point Arena's first appearance in the CIF State playoffs. Jared led us in scoring (23.5 P.P.G.) and rebounding (13.7 R.P.G.). In addition to being the M.V.P. of our team he was named the M.V.P. of the N.C.L. III. Congratulations on a great season Jared! He went on to play baseball and further his education at Santa Rosa J.C. (1st Tam All Conference-Baseball) then continued at UCSB (1st Team All Conference, 2023). Jared Sundstrom was drafted in the 2023 MLB Draft on July 10, 2023 by the Seattle Mariners in the 10th round, pick # 307. "
