Mackenzie Neff has been named player of the year. "Mackenzie (Mac) Neff is a Junior and team captain. Mac led the league with 27 goals and 11 assists in 15 games. Seven of her goals were game winning goals including the State Championship game winning goal. She also had 2 game winning assists this year as she led her team to their first ever UNDEFEATED season in 18 years with a record of 14-0-2. Her biggest accomplishment was receiving the 2017 VACA League MVP Award and being selected to the 2017 VACA All State 1st Team. Additional accomplishments also include being selected for the 2017 VACA All-Tournament Team, receiving the 2017 VACA Tournament MVP Award, being voted the SVHS team MVP by her teammates, and receiving the SVHS Offensive MVP Award. Congratulations Mac for having a clean sweep, winning every award possible this season and now earning the SVHS Conqueror's Player of the Year Award!!!"
