The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Heritage Academy Gateway Heroes (Queen Creek, AZ) and the host ASU Prep Poly (Mesa, AZ), observed Heritage Academy Gateway's basketball team knock off ASU Prep Poly by a score of 78-58.

The Heroes (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Imagine Prep Superstition (Apache Junction, AZ). The Panthers come into the Freelance challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Imagine Prep Superstition was outscored by Learning Foundation & Performing Arts (Gilbert, AZ), 69-22, in a non-league battle.

The now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to ASU Prep for a non-league battle on Monday, January 26. ASU Prep Poly will meet a Sun Devils squad coming off a 59-28 non-league loss to Sequoia Charter (Mesa, AZ). The Sun Devils record now stands at 0-10.
