The Coyotes (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies come into the 5A East Sky challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Horizon dropped by Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ), 77-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Firebirds battle the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A East Sky challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Chaparral will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 77-50 league win over Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ).
