The Desert Heights Prep Yote beat the visiting Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners basketball team by a tally of 33-15 in Friday's league game.

The Yote now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Great Hearts Anthem for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 27. Desert Heights Prep will confront a Eagles team coming off a 52-45 non-league win over North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.

The Roadrunners (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA). The Warriors come into the 1A West outing with a 0-16 record. In their last outing, San Pasqual Valley was defeated by Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ), 62-45, in a league outing.
