The Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Salpointe Catholic Lancers to 60 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Nighthawks now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Sahuaro for a 4A Kino game on Thursday, February 5. Ironwood Ridge will confront a Cougars team coming off a 96-59 league win over Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Salpointe Catholic falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Lancers host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Badgers in a non-league game on Thursday, February 5. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 15-6. Tucson High Magnet School won 66-22 in their recent league game against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ)
